Terms of service
Plain terms for an open marketplace: who runs it, what you agree to, how results are ordered, and what you can do when something goes wrong.
These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. They describe what the site actually does, and the two are kept in step. Last changed on 28 September 2026.

What Nuntrix is
Nuntrix is a marketplace that connects people who need local services with people who provide them. In legal terms it is an online intermediary service: a hosting service under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) and an information society service under Romanian Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce. What we offer is the means to find each other and the means to report a problem. Nothing more.
We are not a party to any agreement you reach, we do not perform the work, and we do not handle payment for it. We do not negotiate or conclude agreements on anybody's behalf, and we are not the agent, employer, guarantor or representative of anybody who uses Nuntrix. The people and businesses who offer their services here are independent of us: they do not work for us or on our behalf, we do not direct or supervise what they do, and we do not set their prices.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 to create an account, post a nuntio or answer one. By signing up you confirm that you are. An account that belongs to somebody younger is deleted.
What you are responsible for
You use Nuntrix on your own responsibility. You answer for what you do on it, and for what you agree with other people through it. In particular:
- What you post — a nuntio, an answer, a business profile, a photo, a review or a report — is yours to answer for: that it is true, complete and lawful, that you are serious about it, and that you have the right to publish it without infringing anybody else's rights.
- If you offer a service, it is up to you to be entitled to provide it: any authorisation, licence, qualification, registration or insurance the law requires, your taxes and your invoices, and — where you act as a business towards consumers — the duties consumer protection law places on you.
- Before you agree anything, check the other person yourself: who they are, what they can do, their references, the price, the timing, and what happens if something goes wrong. Put what you agree in writing.
- Every agreement, payment, meeting, piece of work, guarantee and dispute is between you and the other person, even when it started on Nuntrix. We are not a party to it and it does not bind us.
- Contact details released to you are for discussing the job in question. Using them for anything else — advertising, selling them, passing them on — is your act and your responsibility.
- Whatever is done with your account counts as done by you, and so does whatever an agent does with an API key you gave it.
If somebody makes a claim against Nuntrix because of what you posted, because of an agreement you made with another user, or because you broke these terms or the law, you answer for that claim and for the loss it causes us, as far as the law allows.
What we do not check and do not guarantee
We do not review what users post for truth or quality. Every nuntio, answer and business profile passes an automatic check before it is published, and a flagged nuntio waits for a person — but that check looks for what may never be posted, not for whether a listing is true, or whether the person behind it is who they say or will do what they say, and a person who approves a nuntio has checked it against those rules and nothing more. Beyond it, we have no general obligation to monitor what is posted or to look for signs of illegal activity (Article 8 of the Digital Services Act). So:
- We do not vouch that anything a user posts is true, accurate, complete, current or lawful.
- We do not vouch for the identity, seriousness, honesty, intentions, qualifications, licences, insurance or ability to pay of anybody who uses Nuntrix.
- We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, price, timing or result of any work, or that it is done at all.
- We do not guarantee that a nuntio will be answered, that anybody you contact will reply, or that anybody will keep an appointment or a promise.
The signals on a listing or a profile are information, not a recommendation and not a guarantee. A rating or a review is the opinion of whoever wrote it, not ours. Response times and jobs completed are worked out from what happened on Nuntrix and say nothing about work done anywhere else. A Promoted label means somebody paid for position; it is not an endorsement. And when an AI assistant reads Nuntrix and picks somebody for you, the choice is the assistant's and yours, not ours.
Posting
Posting a nuntio and answering one are free. You are responsible for what you post being accurate and lawful. Every account has daily limits on how much it can post and ask for, so the marketplace cannot be flooded. We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. How reports are handled, and how to challenge a decision, is on the Digital Services Act page. What may never be posted — sexual services, drugs, weapons, forged documents, fraud, trafficking and the rest — is listed there too. Every nuntio is checked automatically before it is published; one that is flagged, or reported by a signed-in account or by more than one person, is hidden until a person has read it.
Leads and fees
Posting, answering and asking for someone's contact details are free, and stay free. The one thing you can pay us for is placement: anyone who has posted a nuntio can pay to have it shown above others in the searches it already matches, for a set number of days. It buys position and nothing else — it cannot put a nuntio into a category, a place or a search it does not answer, a closer match still wins when somebody types words, and every promoted nuntio is labelled as one. The window ends on the day it says, with no renewal and nothing to cancel. We do not take a commission on the underlying job and we do not charge per introduction. Any price is shown before you are asked to pay it, never after.
Placement starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, because that is what you ask for when you pay. If you are a consumer you can still withdraw within 14 days of paying, by writing to us, and you are refunded for the days that had not yet run.
Photos
You can add photos to a nuntio. When you do, you confirm that you took them or that you have the right to publish them, and we record that you did. Posting someone else's photograph without permission can get the nuntio removed and can cost you the account, and a rights holder who complains will be told the date of that confirmation.
What we do to a photo before anyone sees it: we resize it, we strip the data your camera attached to it — which usually includes where the picture was taken — and we put the Nuntrix wordmark on it. We do not read text out of pictures, so a phone number written on one will be published even though the same number typed into the description would be hidden. Photos you remove are deleted, not hidden.
Matrimonials
Matrimonials is for adults looking for a serious relationship, marriage, or a matchmaker to help them find one. Anybody can see that the section exists and what it is for; before it shows a single listing it asks whether you are 18 or older and of legal age where you live, and you must answer truthfully. It asks everybody, whether signed in or not, and remembers your answer in your browser and on your account.
- Post only about yourself — or, as a matchmaking agency, about clients who have agreed in writing to be presented.
- Not allowed: paid company, escorting or any sexual service, or anything that looks like an offer of one.
- Not allowed: anything involving somebody under 18.
- Not allowed: somebody else's photos, name or details, or a profile that pretends to be somebody else.
- Not allowed: asking for money, gifts, travel costs or payment details, from anybody, for any reason.
Its listings are not shown in general results, in search engines or to automated tools, and they are not on the public API. We remove a listing that breaks these rules, can suspend the account that posted it, and pass anything that suggests a crime involving a child to the authorities. Report a listing with the link on its page.
How results are ordered
With no search words — browsing, a category, a place — promoted nuntios come first, each labelled as promoted, and inside each group the newest comes first. When you type words, how well a nuntio matches them decides the order; promotion adds a small, capped bonus and can never lift a weaker match above a clearly better one. You can also sort by newest, most answered or closest. The open API and the MCP server list nuntios newest first, with no promotion in the order at all.
Businesses are listed by how quickly they usually answer, then by rating; a business with no measured answers yet comes after those with one. You can sort by rating, by jobs completed or by newest instead. Nobody can pay to change a rating, a response time or a number of jobs — they are worked out from what happened on the site.
Businesses and private people
Whoever offers a service here says whether they do it as a business or as a private person, and we show it beside the offer and on their profile. We do not check that declaration. The protections EU consumer law gives you apply when you deal with a business, not when you deal with another private person.
Machine access
Read access to the public API and to the MCP server is free and open. Automated access to gated data — contact details, messaging, booking — requires authentication and is metered. Circumventing the gate is a breach of these terms, and that includes publishing a phone number, email address, messaging handle or link in the text of a nuntio, an answer or a provider profile in order to be reached without going through Nuntrix. We remove contact details from public text automatically; doing it repeatedly, or working around the removal, can get the content removed and can cost you the account.
If you give an agent an API key, what it does with that key is done by you: the listings it posts and the answers it sends are yours, under these terms, and count against your limits. Give a key only the permissions it needs — getting contact details, posting, answering — and revoke it the moment you no longer trust where it is. We email you about every listing posted with a key, so you can tell if one has leaked.
Suspending and closing accounts
We can stop an account posting, for a set time or indefinitely, when it breaks these terms. You are told why, the reason is on your dashboard, and you can ask us to reconsider by writing to us. Listings taken down with a suspension are reviewed one by one, not restored together.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. What happens to your data when you do is in the privacy policy.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. A change never applies to a placement you had already paid for.
Liability
As a hosting service, we are not liable for what users store on Nuntrix, as long as we do not know it is illegal and, once we learn that it is — from a report or otherwise — we act quickly to remove it or to disable access to it (Article 6 of the Digital Services Act).
As far as the law allows, Nuntrix is not liable for any loss or damage, material or moral, direct or indirect — including lost profit, a lost opportunity or lost data — that comes from what users post; from how any user behaves, on Nuntrix or away from it; from any agreement, work, payment, non-payment or dispute between users; from relying on information somebody else published; or from Nuntrix being unavailable, slow or wrong for a while. Nuntrix is provided as it is and as it is available. Where we are liable for a service you paid us for, such as a placement, our liability is limited to what you paid for it.
None of this excludes or limits a liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited: for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, for harm to anybody's life, body or health, or under the rules on personal data (the GDPR) and on online platforms (the Digital Services Act). And nothing here limits rights you have under Romanian or EU consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in and can go to its courts. You can also complain to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), or use its alternative dispute resolution service.
When something goes wrong
Our part is to give you the means to tell us. Every listing and every provider profile has a report control, you do not need an account to use it, and a person reads every report. What happens next — including a listing coming down while it is read — is on the Digital Services Act page. When content or an account breaks these terms or the law, we can remove the content and suspend the account, as set out above.
We do not mediate between users, we do not decide who was right, and we do not compensate anybody for what another user did or failed to do. A dispute with somebody you met here is yours to settle with them: directly, through the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or an alternative dispute resolution body if you are a consumer dealing with a business, or in court. If you believe a crime has been committed, go to the police. We cooperate with the authorities as the law requires.
